What is STEAM?

What is STEAM education?

STEAM education is an approach to learning that uses science, technology, engineering, arts and maths to encourage creative problem-solving, collaboration and critical thinking.

On Global English camps, we enhance language learning by first introducing relevant target languages and then by guiding students through STEAM projects that bring the English language to life in a practical and motivating way.

At SBI we introduce language and build English fluency in a very holistic way and this is achieved through the theme-based connection between all ESL, and STEAM projects, outings and presentations.

Student reward system

Seeing each child flourish makes the teachers so proud, and we love to recognize and reward each child’s individuality. Each learning session and outing is aligned to one of the S.T.E.A.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Maths) components.

Activity Badges

Upon completion of each activity, each student will earn a unique activity badge and gradually build a collection which they can proudly display on their camp sash. Students will also receive an activity badge for every outing that recognizes newly acquired skills.
